| Casey / Keegan 2nd Litter - November 1, 2006 |
Casey and
Keegan made such a great pair that we decided to do it again! There
weren't any females in the last litter that made the cut for a possible
future Ramblin "girl" so we have decided to try another breeding to see
if we can get a few more females this time to choose from. We did end
up keeping back a male puppy to see how he turns out, but I really
wanted to keep a female out of Casey and Keegan.
Anyway, Casey
was bred to Keegan late August/early September so her litter arrived
November 1, 2006. Mother Nature has a good sense of humour - these
great puppies will be ready just in time for Christmas - should be
fun!!!!! We will only consider letting the puppies go to their new
homes before Christmas if it will be going to a quiet home that doesn't
have very young children and is staying in and not having much
company. After all, being introduced to Christmas chaos just isn't
fair to any poor little puppy!
Update - October 18, 2006
Looks
like everything is a go on this end! Casey is expanding by the day and
eating me out of house and home! These great puppies are due November
2nd, so keep an eye on this page for news of her delivery! Here's
hoping for another uneventful delivery!!!!!!
Update - October 28, 2006
Casey
is getting as big as a house and we are down to the wire now! She is
having a hard time keeping any food down because there just isn't room
in there!

Update - November 2, 2006
Well,
is she like clockwork or what? Casey and Keegan are the proud parents
of 9 wonderful, strong puppies!!! 7 boys and 2 girls! They started
arriving at 7:00 pm Nov 1st with no warning and continued coming
through the night until the last one at 4:30am this morning. She took
her time this time and kept me up all night. I have to say I prefer
her 9:00 am delivery time of the last litter!!! LOL

With their dad's many titles in obedience, field and
hunt and with Casey's drive for fetching, I know their puppies are
going to excel in anything they do! From all reports on their last
litter, these puppies are smart and learn very quickly!
