Welcome to Ramblin Goldens.  We have been breeding Goldens for about eight years now and are dedicated to keeping true golden temperament and health our #1 priorities.  All of our breeding dogs are tested and cleared for hips, elbows, eyes and heart by certified specialists.  Quality stud dogs are carefully selected to ensure healthy, solid lineage is passed down to our puppies. 

Ramblin Goldens is located on the sunny shores of Lake Huron in Southampton, Ontario, home of the World’s greatest sunsets.  We live on the corner of two dead end streets on the east side of the river in Southampton, nice and close to the Lake for those evening strolls to the Lake for some fetching, swimming and some good ol’ R&R.

Our goldens live with us in our home as part of the family to ensure well rounded, easy going temperaments are passed down to their offspring.  Our puppies are born and raised in our home and are well socialized when they leave for their new homes with the help of our 7 year old son.  Our puppies are only sold to loving, caring owners that are required to provide a lifetime commitment to their puppy.  That being said, we understand that circumstances do not always make it easy to keep a puppy or dog and we will take back the puppy or dog or try to help the owner find a new home.

We try our best to match the puppy to the buyer for temperament  and compatibility.  All of our puppies are registered with the CKC and are sold on a Non-Breeding Contract with a guarantee for hips, elbows, eyes and heart.  Our puppies go to their new homes having been micro-chipped, had their first shots, been dewormed and had a thorough checkup by our veterinarian. The puppies also take home with them a complete information package, 6 weeks of free health insurance provided by PetPlan, vet records, a small portion of food and a stuffed toy with the scent of their littermates on it.  This makes the transition to their new home a little easier.  Puppy buyers are also encouraged to join an obedience class with their new puppy to help with the training of their new family pet.

We will freely give you the benefit of our experience and knowledge of the Golden Retriever and will always be available to make recommendations, suggestions or help you with any concerns or problems you might encounter.

We are members in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club and the Purina Pro Plan Breeders Club.
